World Climbing Europe Championship Laval: Speed Climbing

Leander Carmanns ran 4.79 in qualification, a new European record, then went out in the first round of finals, 6.64 to Aodhan Umlauf's 6.49.

Petr Zemliakov, competing as a neutral athlete, won the men's title in 5.00 over home climber Marceau Garnier. Ivan Zemliakov took bronze after Hryhorii Ilchyshyn fell in the small final.

Beatrice Colli won the women's title for Italy in 6.55 against Elizaveta Ivanova. Aleksandra Mirosław, in her final season, lost her semi-final to Ivanova by four hundredths and took bronze in 6.18 over Natalia Kałucka.
