World Climbing Europe Championship Laval

Europe crowns its continental champions in Laval, France, across speed and lead. With Aleksandra Mirosław retiring at the end of the season, the women's European speed crown is very much in play, and a generation of climbers who grew up chasing her times gets its chance.

France is a fitting host: the FFME's national training center in Voiron and the annual Chamonix World Cup make it one of Europe's most active speed nations.
